Going Going Gone

After procrastinating a bit, and then a little more, and even a bit more after that, I have finally sent off my SKP's package. I hope it arrives safely...it would be so disapointing to find out it got lost in the mail....but that's just my luck. Hopefully my SKP's luck is better than mine!

I still haven't recieved anything, and i'm a little saddened...but seeing as I just sent off mine, I'm not TOO worried!

Life has been pretty hectic. Not as much free time anymore. This weekend is going to be a little crazy, but I'm looking forward to it none the less. I'm a little disapointed that I have to miss Pink Sugar's Grand Opening, but I know it will be fabulous without me! My Great Uncles surprise birthday party is this weekend, so I am off to some lake I've never heard of for Saturday Night, then back to Calgary Sunday morning to check out Kensington's Sun and Salsa Festival! I can't wait to see all of Katie's clothes up on stage!!!! Then Sunday night is Janelle's BDay partay, although she doesn't seem as excited as I am HAHA!.....I LOVE a good PARTY!!!

Well that's all for now...must get back to my oh so busy day at work.....

Blustery Day

The weather outside has finally cooled down, thankfully! I actually slept all night last night with out having to go get an icepack from the freezer to cool me down! I'm sitting at work, wondering what I should buy with my paycheck! So many things, and sadly not nearly enough money!!!!

I still haven't sent out my Knitting Package, but I WILL do it, I just need one more thing to add and I can't figure out what it should be...I have a couple ideas, but nothing seems to be exactly what I'm looking for, maybe I'm just TOO picky! HAHA!

A few friends and I went out on Friday, it was my first somewhat Stampede experience, and I had SO MUCH FUN!! In the end I was the only one awake, and left to play some Wii by myself, but I finally got to try play it which was so worth playing Mario Party by myself...!

Mike and I went and saw Transformers last night! It was SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!! It was just the right amount of comedy, with just the right amount of huge things blowing up!!! I was super impressed, as I thought it was going to be a rather bad movie! Everyone should go see it ASAP! It was the one time we went to our movie theatre and there were more than 5 couples in the theatre!

I still haven't been knitting, but I will get on it hopefully soon, I've been so incredibly busy that I barely have time to do dishes, much less sit back and knit! I NEED to finish those socks! I'll take a picture tonight, and post my progress...they're toeless and I just want to be finished ONE!

Well I should get back to looking busy!

Need Some Sugar

So I'm bored at work, although I've only been here an hour! If you happen to be as bored as I am, but are lucky enough NOT to be at work, you should come stop by the store!!! Pink Sugar I would love to sell ya something! Better yet you should come get a massage from me this afternoon at Optimum Wellness Centre, because I'm that cool! Wow talk about self promoting...I should stop before this whole message becomes about me and my current jobs...oh wait it already is...

As for the knitting part of my life, I've been neglecting everything. I still need to find a few more things for my package, and I haven't even picked up my needles in 2 weeks. I haven't been this busy in a very long time. I guess I haven't had much of a social life in awhile, I was a little bit of a hermit! Needless to say, hopefully I'll get back on track next week, take my knitting to work! Keep me entertained so I'm not super bored all day!

Jezzeblog

So I was reading about peoples wishes from their Secret Knitting Pals today, and one girl had said she was looking for a pattern of a Katamari Damacy Amigurumi pattern. This totally spawned me to go on a google-fest and although I did not find a knit pattern I didn't find a bunch of crocheted ones. I also found a bunch of amazing little crocheted dolls too, I think I may need to teach myself how to crochet now, as I would love to create stuffies all day long!

BUT this is not the reason I post! I found an AMAZING blog all the way from South Africa. Jezzeblog This girl has created the CUTEST little dolls, which she also sells, and was super enough to create a pattern and share it for FREE!!!! THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!! I want to make 8 billion of them, and have them all over my room! I created a link to the pattern under links! She has also created SO many other things that I think are fabulous! I can't wait to go buy some yarn for these guys and start knitting...that is after I finish my socks...and the thing i bought from the yarn store on Saturday...looks like I'm actually going to be knitting a lot again. Well it's about time!

For My Pal

I went shopping for my Secret Knitting Pal on Saturday and couldn't believe how much stuff I got for only 20$. It was really smart to save shopping till Make One's big yarn sale! I also spent way to much money on myself, considering I'm pretty much broke haha! I just need to add some personal touches to the package and I'll be off to the post office to send her off! I can't wait to send it, but even more so I can't wait to get mine in the mail!!!!! I'd take a picture of what I bought, but I don't want to spoil the surprise for my Pal! I did however get a new case for all my little gadgets as the other one I had broke and now spills everywhere! This one is SO nice, I'll take a picture of it for sure, but the yarn and such will have to remain a mystery for another 6 months, and so will the project I decided to start, because I kind of ties in with what I bought my Pal!

I'm at work right now, and it's rediculously boring...I have a client in an hour, but all I can think about is eating...I'd be mad that he's invading my lunch hour, but this will help with the bills ahah!

Well I'm off to put my sheets in the dryer! I'm impressed 2 posts within a week! Hopefully I'll keep this up!
