Product Review: Naturia Dry Shampoo Cont.

So to follow up on the Dry Shampoo, I was a little disappointed that after 2 weeks it ran out...enough so that I decided to try another brand that was a little cheaper per ounce, and also came in a bigger bottle. Oscar Blandi Pronto.
I used it twice and took it back....it made my hair MORE greasy...and it took me 4 shampoos to get the sticky residue out of my hair.  So I went back to Sephora and switched it back for Naturia.  I'm going to see if I can get away with using less, and make it last a little longer...I REALLY love it and I don't think I can give it up...

Also on my trip to Sephora I picked up some new mascara.  I have a ridiculous sensitivity to mascara and can only use natural products or my eyes turn bright red and become super duper itchy.  I bought a mini 2 pack of Fresh to give them a shot...I've been settling since finding amazing mascara without 8 tons of a crap in them is almost impossible.
I'll let you know what I decide!  They both look kind of amazing.....even the bottles are pretty!!!!

Birthday Partay

I had a fantastic party at a little park by my house on the weekend.  I couldn't have asked for better weather, or better friends to share a lovely day.  Thea was the official photographer and got some great shots of the bouncy house....which we kinda took to it's limits!
...Lindsay almost died right after the last picture...I somehow managed to save myself from squishing her...that thing is DANGEROUS with 6 adults inside!  It was however worth all the stress.  SO funny!  Now how do I top this next year?!

Naturia Dry Shampoo

I have a serious problem.......I am SUPER addicted to Sephora...My friend Sarah even brought it to my attention yesterday...I think I buy something from there at least once a week.  Mostly just to try new things because they have the most amazing return policy...I think I kind of take advantage of them because of it.  However every now and then I stumble upon something AMAZING!

Naturia  Dry Shampoo is my new must have.  I don't understand how it works.  But this morning when I woke up my hair was super greasy, but I was in a rush and did not have time to shower...so I figured I would test this out.  I flipped my hair and sprayed the bottom of my hair just in case it turned my hair grey like baby power does...and well it came out white...but two seconds later is was invisible.  So I sprayed it all over...it seemed to do a decent job. So I decided to brush it out as the directions stated, and my hair looked clean, like I had just shampooed and conditioned.  I couldn't believe it.
I've used baby powder in the past, and then moved on to cake satin sugar which I liked cause it smelled nice.  It did what it was supposed to...but the only downside was unless rubbed it in for like forever...my hair was a lighter brown, you could see the powder.  Naturia did NOT change the colour of my hair. It gave it volume and although it didn't add any shine...it looked clean, and even better it FEELS clean.  And even better it didn't cause static in my hair!  Which I super appreciate because my hair is super fine...and LOVES to stand on end.
To make this product even better, it doesn't contain parabens, something I really try to avoid.  It is an aerosol, which doesn't make me super happy, but not having to wash my hair as often means less water usage...so it balances out a little.

Pretty much in love...I wanna see how long I can use it before I begin to look disgusting...is that a bad thing to test?...I last washed my hair on Wednesday night.  So we'll see when it needs it again...(I won't push it past a week.....)

IN OTHER NEWS!!! BIRTHDAY PARTY TOMORROW!!! I CAN'T FREAKING WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wii Fit Plus

I got Wii Fit Plus for my birthday and decided to try it out today.  To be quit honest...it was really boring.  I got EA Sports Active a few months ago, and it is WAY better.  It calculated my Wii Fit age, and at first I was at 35, not too bad.  But when I took it 20 minutes later I was at 24...really don't feel like that was a measurement of anything useful!  I REALLY dislike the fact that you have to select a new exercise every time...with the exception of Wii Fit Plus Routines where they choose 3 in a row to target specific areas.  I did 20 minutes of exercise and honestly don't feel a thing.  After 20 minutes of EA Active I am usually a little sweaty and actually tired.  The first time I used it I could barely walk for two days it pushed me so hard.  The exercises are way more user friendly, and now that I have a  balance board, I'm excited to see what else I can do with it as EA was smart enough to utilise the balance board if it is available...
On top of being super boring....the voice of the trainer made me want to kill myself, plus her words of encouragement weren't very varied and she repeated the same things sometimes one after another. I may use it every now and then cause it's nice for a quick workout (I am the laziest human being ever...so 5 minutes of exercise a day is like a miracle)...but I doubt it will be on a regular basis...EA Sports Active is a way better "game." But now I have a balance board to go with it!

Hello from Kelowna

So I've decided to stay an extra day in Kelowna to avoid the crazy snow storm that hit Alberta yesterday...I just took off my snow tires, and really didn't want to end my vacation in the ditch.  It's been a lovely vacation but I am enjoying my last day of piece and quiet as my brother and his friends took of today to make the most of the snow and get in one last day of skiing before summer.
My little brother and I went on a ton of adventures, including about 5 rounds of mini golf, and a ton of go-karting!  And he wanted to go swimming in the lake, but after getting his feet wet we decided it might be a little chilly....

But the best of my adventures was roaming around downtown by myself yesterday and getting in a little shopping.  I found this cute little home store...and they had the CUTEST cards...so I bought 5...I have a serious stationary problem.  I also bought some delicious tea, can't wait to taste it.  Everything in the store was beautiful.  You can check out Olive & Elle Boutique here
